This Privacy Policy explains how Nutra In Mind collects and uses information through the Nutra In Mind website.
Who We Are
This website introduces Nutra In Mind, a software platform currently in development for the ingredient industry.
Information We Collect
If you join the Early Access List, we collect your first name, last name, company, business email address and company type, and, if you provide them, your company size, current system and interest level, along with whether you would like to be considered for future previews or testing.
If you complete our industry survey, we collect your answers to the survey questions and your email address, so we can follow up about your feedback.
When the survey bot check is enabled, Google reCAPTCHA processes browser and network information to help detect automated submissions. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that service.
If you subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address.
With each of these forms we also record the page you submitted it from and, where available, how you arrived at the site, such as a search engine or a link you followed.
If you accepted analytics and then submit one of these forms, we link your visits on this site, before and after you submit it, to what you submitted, using the random visitor ID described below. This continues until you turn analytics off or clear the visitor ID from your browser. If you declined analytics, nothing links your visits to you.
Why We Collect It
We collect and use this information with your consent: you choose to submit a form, and, separately, you choose whether to accept tracking.
We use it to send Nutra In Mind development updates, to invite you to previews or testing if you told us you are interested, and to understand what ingredient businesses need so we can decide what to build next. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Cookies, Analytics and Your Choices
The first time you visit this site, a banner asks whether you accept or decline non-essential tracking, with a link to this Privacy Policy. Your choice is saved in your browser (localStorage key nim-consent) and stays in effect until you change it using “Cookie settings” in the footer. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that the same as declining and the banner is not shown, unless you go into Cookie settings yourself and turn analytics on, in which case we honour that choice; otherwise the signal keeps analytics off.
Without your consent, or before you make a choice, we only record an anonymous count of page views: the page, the referring site, campaign parameters, general device type, screen width, language and country. We do not store a visitor ID, a session ID or your IP address for this. If you arrive through one of our referral links, we count the click (the time, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the site that sent you) without storing your IP address, and we record the link’s short code with the pages you view and any form you submit.
If you accept, we also store a random visitor ID (localStorage key nim-vid) and a session ID (sessionStorage key nim-sid, cleared when you close the tab). We then record details such as your IP address; an approximate location derived from it using a local, offline database (credited below); your internet provider and network; your device, browser and operating system; the pages and page titles you visit; the links and buttons you click and roughly where on the page you clicked; how far down a page you scroll; which sections of a page you view; the names of any form fields you interact with (never what you type into them); and how long you spend on each page.
If you turn analytics off, we immediately delete the visitor ID and session ID from your browser.
Visits from our own staff’s browsers are recorded with their name for internal reporting. When a staff member signs in to our internal system, their browser gets a marker (cookie nim-staff) that this site sends with each page view, whatever the analytics choice, and that we use only to label our own visits.
We do not use third-party trackers or advertising cookies, and we do not share this tracking information with advertisers. Tracking information is kept for 365 days, a period we may adjust, and is then deleted. For a plain list of what each cookie or storage key does, see the Cookie Policy.
Location data: IP geolocation by DB-IP, used under CC BY 4.0.
Newsletter Emails
Subscribing to Nutra In Mind development updates is single opt-in: we start sending as soon as you subscribe. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove your address at any time.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this website and send our emails, and only so they can do that work for us.
How Long We Keep It
We keep the information you submit through our forms until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Tracking information is kept for 365 days, as described above.
